About Defensive Strategies |
| Dirk Sanders is the
Senior Instructor and owner of Defensive Strategies. Dirk is a life
long gun enthusiast and believes strongly in our 2nd Amendment rights and
responsibilities to keep and bear arms.
Dirk is a NRA certified Pistol Instructor and is certified by the Kansas Attorney General to teach Kansas Concealed Carry Classes. He is also a Certified Safety Officer and former Match Director in the International Defensive Pistol Association, (IDPA) and currently shoots at Sharpshooter level. |

The Range |
| Our private range is one of the finest outdoor ranges anywhere. Giant U-Shaped berm allows 180* shooting capability. Range is equipped with multiple target stands as well as multiple steel targets, silhouettes, reactive steel targets, poppers, plate racks and a 20foot moving target. A really fun place to shoot! Very close to Wichita too... |

The Class Room |
| The classroom setting is cozy and laid back. 16-20 students is a full class. Coffee, drinks, breakfast and lunch are ALL provided in the CCH class! Class atmosphere is easy going and fun. Professional Powerpoint Presentation on the 60" Big Screen with automated firearms and other 2A videos and MUCH more! You'll be glad you took your class here... |
